Generous fruitiness characterizes the palate which is pleasant and very balanced with adjusted woodiness and present but refined tannins. To be enjoyed now but the tannic structure will allow it to age in a harmonious setting.

    Very beautiful color of Pinot Noir, deep ruby with transparency. The nose is fruity and supple, reminiscent of black cherry and raspberry mixed with spices, with a hint of black pepper, fine and delicate woody. The palate is round and delicate with slightly stewed red and black fruits, the tannins are round, ripe and present. Nice length with a very balanced and enchanting woodiness.

    Lively ruby which takes on a dark carmine, black cherry hue with age. Strawberry, blackberry, violet, mignonette and rose are among its spontaneous aromas, while maturity gives them a bouquet of liquorice, leather and fur, with gamey and undergrowth accents. On the palate, a great Burgundy is expressed. Whole and powerful, rich, full-bodied, it asserts itself with a firm structure, tannins which play on velvet, expressing themselves on a very fine grain, without hardness. Pleasant young and to drink on its fruit, it is however and above all a wine to keep, often with great aging potential.

On the nose, the aromas suggest broom, white rose, acacia, honeysuckle, fern, verbena, lemongrass, citrus fruits (grapefruit, mandarin). Nuances of pine, quince and fennel appear on the finish. Fresh and easy-drinking wine, dry but very fruity. It has a good concentration, with the acid support necessary for their duration. Roundness and smoothness characterize the place called “Saint Pierre” in the municipal appellation of Lugny.

    The color is a deep red, dark purple. It is tinted with mauve highlights. If the aromatic range includes blackberry and blueberry, it also tends towards redcurrant, concentrated cherry (stone) or even ripe plum, if not candied. The aromas of maturity express leather, pepper or capsicum, chocolate. Fresh bread crust and licorice appear with age. The tannic structure present in its youth allows the Pommard to blossom after four or five years, offering a tender structure and a fleshy, rich and powerful character when tasting. It is fruity on the palate, while having chewiness.
